Story
In 2016, ctOS 2.0, an advanced operating system that networks a city's infrastructure, is rolled out across several United States cities to create safer, more efficient metropolises. The story follows Marcus Holloway, a brilliant young hacker living in the San Francisco Bay Area, the birthplace of the tech revolution. Marcus teams up with Dedsec, a notorious group of hackers, to expose the hidden dangers of ctOS 2.0, which in the hands of corrupt corporations is being used to monitor and manipulate citizens on a massive scale. Together they set out to take down the system and return control to the people it was used against.
