Task Bar Isekai is a single-player idle action role-playing game that runs in a transparent strip above the Windows taskbar. Combat continues automatically while the player uses other desktop applications. Players collect equipment, upgrade it through forging and fusion, recruit three heroes and progress through five acts. Some bosses leave the strip and appear on the desktop, where they can be attacked by clicking. The game also includes offline progression and an endless tower.
Story
Kenta Sato, an overworked programmer, is reborn in Gekai, a world beneath the Windows taskbar where computer glitches take the form of monsters. He meets the Desktop Goddess and other inhabitants while travelling through this miniature world.
