A satirical and dystopian asteroid mining simulator. H.A.R.V.E.S.T.E.R is a first-person simcade game where the player must meet daily ore quotas under a time limit, or be left to suffocate to death. The game features its own radar system, several dangerous and unpredictable enemies, and an extremely punishing economy where around 95% of the player's earnings are deducted through the marketplace due to several absurd, arbitrary fees and penalties.
Story
The story follows a H.A.R.V.E.S.T.E.R pilot who simply does what they must do to survive. In the process, they have no choice but to listen to their company-mandated radio and follow the instructions given to them by their briefings, which reveal a story of a society that has undergone significant moral, economic, and social decay.
