Forget everything you think you know about sports simulations. Football sets new standards in terms of realism and playability. Each player has unique physical traits, and each player acts and moves in their own way during every action. You can adjust the performance characteristics of any player at will. You call the plays, both on offense and defense. Select your quarterback, receivers, and running backs, and then become an active part of the play you've chosen. You control the quarterback and, once the ball is passed, take control of the receiver or running back. On defense, you take on the role of the safety or linebacker for the selected play.
