Ebonfrost

The world’s upheaval began with the Winterstone Calamity, the original shattering of the Winterstone. Its destruction threw the seasons into chaos, leaving people struggling through violent and unpredictable changes in their environment.

Among those affected was Elyndra, an ordinary woman who set out across the world to recover the scattered shards. The dangers of her journey forced her to learn magic, gradually becoming a mage through necessity and experience. Eventually, she gathered the pieces needed to rebuild the Winterstone.

Some of those shards, however, had been tainted by Void essence. When Elyndra restored the Winterstone, that corruption became part of the reconstructed stone. Her restoration unleashed the Ebonfrost, locking the world into an enduring, ever-preserving winter.
