"Battleboard is a turn-based hex wargame with card-driven army building."
Battleboard is a turn-based hex wargame with card-driven army building. Instead of recruiting from a menu, players construct buildings that produce unit cards, then deploy those cards onto a hex map within a point budget, using terrain across six biomes, with combat resolved by dice. The game features four asymmetric factions (Iron Pact, Verdant Choir, Ashen Legion and Sunforged), each with its own units and a 48-node research tree, an eight-resource economy in which construction competes with research, tactics and spell cards such as Fireball and Shield Wall, and an Army Builder for assembling forces against a point tracker.
